Hello alltogether,

I am using Programmers Notepad for a while now and I am quite satisfied with its functionality and handling. But there are a few things which I think can be enhanced though. Some of them are dealing with the auto reload function.

- First of all: The auto reload function. There is an option for deactivating the auto reload for a specific file – but I do not find an option for the opposite purpose. In my opinion, it is not comfortable if you have to accept the reload of a specific file every time it is changed outside

- Second: The auto reload function ;) As there is not option to automatically reload all opened files the following may happen: I open a few files in Programmers Notepad, change them (without saving) and also change them from outside where I save them. After that I click the ‘save all’ button in Programmers Notepad – now I lose the changes which where made from outside programmers notepad. I think it would be great to get informed that there where also changes made from outside.

There are also other improvements I could imagine which I will post another day ;)

Best regards

Sycko

1. Auto reload, the reason that currently reloads do not take place automatically is to avoid losing user changes. It’s possible that we could support this as long as the file remains unchanged, but no work is planned on this currently.

2. This is a reasonable request, please file it here:

Sorry, but I do not have a google account and do not want to create one – can somebody else do this?
