I am running Programmer’s Notepad 2.2.0.2240 on Windows 7. Overall, I have liked it, but now the cursor is invisible. I have no easy way of telling where the text is going to go when I type. I can’t remember any specific thing I did to trigger this behavior. It just started happening one day.
After some tinkering, I discovered that if I load certain preset styles, such as “Dark” or “Murky”, I can see the cursor, but with the default style, the cursor is invisible. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I tried reinstalling PN and it didn’t fix the problem.

Maybe you’ve change the color of the cursor or something like that… Try changing Tools -> Fonts and Color -> Cursor Color (you may need to restart PN after changing this).
To start from scratch, after uninstalling PN, find you settings folder (e.g. search for “fortran.cscheme” file) and remove it. Then install PN again.

It worked. Thank you.
Does anyone know why loading the default style doesn’t pick a sensible color for the cursor? Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug?

Thanks Nux, and this does sound like a bug. Added here:
