First of all : thank you for this great editor :-)

Here are some features that might be handy :

1) Code folding options as in Notepad++

In Notepad++ you have the following possibilities :

Collapse the current level

Uncollapse the current level

Collapse the level … X

Uncollapse the level … X

Very handy :-)

2) Find and replace as in EditPlus

In EditPlus you can do a Find and Replace by entering text in text areas instead of text boxes. This allows you to find text including linebreaks and tabs.

This often is easier than working with regular expressions to match linebreaks and tabs.

3) Tab size

Haven’t found an editor which allows you to switch between tab sizes easily (without the need to open up the options/preferences dialog to go and change the tab size value).

It would be nice to have the possibility to switch between tab sizes more quickly, e.g. via a dropdown in the toolbar.

This really is a great editor ! I wouldn’t take the time to request these features if I wasn’t sure I would continue to use Programmer’s Notepad for a long time to come :-) Thanks a lot !

Key Master

A quick note on the tab size request, this is a possibility for the future but for now it’s worth mentioning that personally I do all these things through the document properties window.

e.g.

Change Scheme: alt-enter [first letter of scheme name] enter

Change tab size: alt-enter tab*3 [tab size] enter

You can change line endings and encodings in there too.
