Hi folks,
This is my first post here, so hi everybody.
I’d like to make PN my default for most everything it will open and edit, like HTML files, text files, log files etc., but it doesn’t appear on the programs tab of internet options, just notepad appears where I can choose a HTML editor.
Also, when I hold shift and right click a text file (.txt) and choose “open with” PN doesn’t appear in the list, nor when I “choose program”, it doesn’t appear in that list either, then when I browse to pn.exe in Program Files and click “open”, it still doesn’t work, nor does it appear in the window (list) even then, so I don’t know what to do.
Before I updated to the new version (today), it did work the way I described above (it appeared in the choose program window when I right clicked a text file and chose Programmers Notepad). I would really like to use the new version PN (2.34.2350) the way it used to work for me, but I don’t know how to make it work.
Can anyone suggest something so I could use PN the way I would like to?
I sure would appreciate any help you may offer.
Thanks for any help you may provide.

Well, I downloaded version 1 of PN from the link on your site and now it works to some degree the way it did before. It still doesn’t appear on the programs tab of internet options so I still can’t make it my default HTML editor, but at least now I can click on .txt files and they open in PN1.
I don’t really like it as much as the version I had installed before though. I believe it was v2.2. but I don’t have the installer anymore. I must have deleted it. I wish I hadn’t.
