I can use Alt-1 to do a Make and Alt-2 to do a Clean, as set by default, but when I go to create my own tool to run a .bat file, I cannot get the key shortcut to work. Whenever I press the shortcut, it just beeps and does nothing else. It will work just fine if I go up to Tools and select it from the list (below make and build), but the key shortcut just beeps. I have tried multiple short cuts and they all seem to do the same thing (Alt-3 is what I have it set to now). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Those shortcuts should work, if you mail me your UserTools.xml file I can have a look at it. Send to ss at this domain.

Thank you for your quick response, Simon. Where might I find that file? I looked in all the programmer’s notebook folders, my project folder, and did a system search for it and it came up blank.

It looks like the tool you’ve added is in the Project Tools section and there is maybe a bug with keyboard shortcuts on project tools. I’ll need to check that, but in the meantime if you add your tool to the main Tools section you should be OK.

Thank you, Simon, for both your help with this matter and all the work you do with Programmer’s Notebook. It is truly a great piece of software.
