hello all,
i am new to PN2 and programming in general. i needed a good editor for my MSc project and felt PN2 was the way to go.
my project involves perl, sql and xml … perhaps a bit of java, i don’t know yet.
the PN2 looks really good but my question is:
how come it does not have a debugger for perl scripts built in or available as a plugin? does this facility already exist?
like i said, i’m new to all this. any help would be appreciated. PN2 seems to have all i require for my project except a useful debugger.

Hi, PN2 is great for editing but it doesn’t really have a built in debugger interface so there’s no debugger for any language.

i’ll just use the command line for debugging then. it would be a great add-on though! but i guess for such great free software thats being a bit too greedy!
