Thanks for reading:

Win XP
Run PN as Administrator

I set up DJGPP as a compiler tool in PN. However, when I go to compile a C program it will seem to access my compiler, but it won’t find my source file even though I’ve told it where it is in a couple of different ways.

First, I go to Tools>Options>Tools (click on my DJGPP compiler tool) Edit>Folder (filled in as %d)

Error message on output on compile is this:

“Failed to create process: The system cannot find the file specified.”

Next, I explicitly name the folder:

Tools>Options>Tools (click on my DJGPP compiler tool) Edit>Folder (filled in as C:\myCsources\)

Same result, “Failed to create process: The system cannot find the file specified.”

The compiler works fine from the command line.

I’m stumped. Is this a common problem?

One last thing, I’m using PN v2.3.4.2350-charles

Thanks for any help you care to provide.

That error would suggest that it can’t find the compiler itself, rather than the file you’re trying to compile. Check the path to the compiler.
