hey there
i am using programmers notepad version 2.0.8.718-basie
i would like to say now that i am un-able to update to the newer verison of programmers notepad without good reason, as me and other developers have to stay on the same version.
i store my variables in a ‘Variables.c’ file, when i try to access this file programmers notepad crashes, i have had other developers look over the file to make sure there is nothing wrong and they said they have never expierenced it.
i have tried:
re-creating the project and then adding the files in again.
re-writting the ‘Variables.c’ file
when i comment out the last thing i added into the file, the file allows me to open it up and saves.
other times the file will open and allow me to edit the contents, but when i go to save it will save the file and then crash.
the crash data is

Please try using a more recent version of Programmer’s Notepad, 2.0.8 is really old now. I know you mention you need to stay on the same, but unfortunately I don’t have time any more to look at crashes from such an old build that are likely to already be fixed.
