One of the functions I use most within a text editor is the “search”, so it would be nice if some “quick way” could be implemented. Let me explain:

I want PN2 to show the occurrence of a word inside a file, and this is what I have to do to accomplish this:

1. double-click the word (or select the characters)

2. press Ctrl+F

3. press Enter

4. press F3 repeatedly to show the occurrences

It would be nice if PN2 could let us jump from step 1 to step 4 (without doing steps 2 & 3) because if you have a lot of words to search, this “little shortcut” would become a BIG helper :) Or does PN2 already have something similar but I didn’t find it?

Or maybe it would almost be as nice if the selected word could be “sent” to the “Search” field in the tool bar

Key Master

Try selecting the word/characters and pressing Ctrl-F3, should do what you want!

Wow, great! :D Exactly what I wanted. Thanks ^_^

Could you please add this shortcut into http://pnotepad.org/docs/navigation/keyboard_shortcuts ?
