I’ve got two stylesheet files that I’ve been editing heavily with PN2. One curiously has bizarre characters (show up as little boxes in Notepad, or a browser) for carriage returns. The other file remains legible.

The two files originally were both legible in a browser. Is this some sort of ASCII character set problem? How do I set what characters are used for new lines?

You can set the line endings from crlf (windows default) to the windows or linux versions. See if that helps.

Key Master

Also note that you can see the current line endings being used on the status bar (e.g. CR+LF). The default line endings style for Windows files is CR+LF.
