Unipad Nemo I like xPad (as generic and trendy as it is) Maybe a play on simon / simon-says Notepad GT (hah, car humor) FooEdit Edut Redux Could go with animals (ie. Thundebird, Firefox, Panda AV, ClamAV) Word Pad Text Edit Editor Programmer Dev Developer Design Type Write “Programmer’s Notepad” always sounded a little late-90′s to me, plus it’s confusing between “Programmer’s Notepad” and “Programmers Notepad”. Last, it could be shorter. Don’t get me wrong, I like it a whole lot more than Notepad++ or similar names; it has a lot of character. -1 for iAnything, anything++, or unpronounceable acronyms. |

Some nice suggestions so far, I particularly like: Nemo xPad Redux so far. I agree with jumpfroggy in that the current name is a bit old hat and causes people grammatical “issues”! I also would like a shorter and perhaps less generic name. Finally, definitely no use of symbols or iAnything. |

I think Programmer’s Notepad is perfect. It states its function right in the title. But if you’re to shorten it, why not just shorten it to pNotepad? You already have the domain |

I actually kind of like the PeanutPad pun, though I like pNotepad better. You could say the pronunciation is PeanutPad and/or have a peanut on the application logo/icon. Also keen on the Redux and UniPad names. Other suggestions: Flex Paddie Padall Mopad |
