How do you add files to a project?

It's a silly question yet I have no idea how to do it.

There is no context menu, no app. menu saying "add files to project."

How can one open various files, add them to a project and save the project?!

Sorry if there is no option for doing it, I thought that the project panel on the left is for that purpose.

The option is in file's context menu. Right click on an open document and you'll see "Add to Project" option that opens up a list your projects.
