Hi, im not a pro, i have used both programmers notepad and notepad together for a very long time because its what i needed, i admit most of the time i used programmers notepad simply for the line numbers feature but my point is that it worked for my purpose even though i dont know all the features, it worked..
But now it does not... when i switched to PN2 i noticed that when i take something from Pnotepad2 and put it into notepad (which is what i did before) it comes out with the carriage returns characters (little boxes)... well basically that screws me up, now i have go thru and remove all of them..
The reason i used both is because i like normal notepad for text and some simple coding, and im also more confident in notepad that there are no special(hidden) formating characters in there..
Im at the bottom of the list when it comes to users, so i know you prob build this for the extreme user of which i am not..
but is there a solution to my delema, is there a way i can keep using Pn2 and have the same clean results when i move it over to notepad or do i need to go back to Pn1..
Ps i would also like to turn off the grid effect in Pn2 if i can.
