   Is it possible to control/reduce the width of the line number gutter to a certain number of characters ? It's too wide IMO.

   I would also like to control the font (size) that is used for the line number display

   You can actually control the font size right now. Just go to:

   Options -> Fonts and Colors -> Styles -> Line Numbers

   Zinahe.
